Ken Michaels has had a career of over 40 years as a radio DJ and producer for syndicated radio shows. He is best known for hosting his weekly syndicated Beatles show “Every Little Thing.” Starting in March 1982 on Long Island’s college station WNYT, the show soon was heard on New Jersey rock station WDHA-FM for 10 years, followed by 6 years on XM satellite radio, and now on over 50 radio stations! “Every Little Thing” is the most unique Beatles show you’ll find on the radio, featuring music spanning the entire group and solo-catalogue of the Fab Four right up to today, with hits, albums cuts, b-sides and rarities. You’ll also find side projects from the Beatles, plus cover versions of their songs, novelty records, tribute songs and anything Beatle-related. And each show closes with a thematic set that can range from music from a specific year, John Lennon’s political songs, tributes to specific artists that have worked with the Beatles, songs that feature Paul McCartney on drums, and so much more! It’s taking a Beatles show as far as it can go!
Ken has also been very active in the Beatles podcast world, where he co-hosts 2 very popular shows—“Things We Said Today” and “Talk More Talk: A Solo-Beatles Videocast.” Both shows have a You Tube channel, and can be heard on all audio platforms. And Ken has his own You Tube channel, Ken Michaels Radio, with loads of Beatles conversations with other Beatles experts, authors, artists, DJs and podcasters.
In 2022, Ken reached a milestone of having hosted 2000 Beatles programs in his career, and where the Fab Four are concerned, he’s even busier than ever today!
Ken is our weekend show host with “Every Little Thing” Saturday’s from 6:00 – 8:00 a.m. Eastern.
