Walter Scott James

Walter Scott James was born in Toronto Canada, and has lived most of his life in Southern Ontario, aside from a year in British Columbia.

A mobile & Pub DJ, since his late teenage years, Walter Scott also has worked part time in the TV industry for a number of years, as a cameraman and segment producer. 

He hosted the Rockin Country Radio Show with his buddies Alnight Esquire, Big Al The BBQ Pal, and The Artman, for many years, and brought the show to internet radio in early 2019.

In early 2020, he started The Canadian Indie Country Countdown
Chart and hosted the weekly airing of the TOP 50 songs by Canada’s Best Country Independent artists.

Today Walter Scott, still hosts Rockin Country, featuring Canadian Independent Country Artists, and the OLD SCHOOL DANCE, an Oldies show featuring music from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and sometimes to present day.

Walter Scott, also produces, ROCK N ROLL BANDSTAND for Robert E Sox, a long time Canadian Radio DJ and drummer in various Show bands over the years. He is also involved with the CICC NEW MUSIC SHOW which is produced and hosted by Canadian Alexander Brandt.

In the Summer of 2024, Walter joined Halton Hills Online as the Audio Producer, at the weekly live to air broadcast of the Grammies Georgetown Car Cruise!

Walter Scott James continues to run the CICC TOP 100 CHART each week in Canada.
